A little howto blogpost: Open your Internet Explorer window maximized
Windows can remember how you closed your Internet Explorer window, but what if you want to open Internet Explorer maximized everytime you use it?
Simple!
Create a new shortcut to C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe
Name it Internet Explorer and save it.
Now go to the properties of you newly created shortcut and change the Run setting to maximized
Click on Apply and OK
Now when you use this shortcut to start your Internet Explorer you will always get a maximized screen!
